Unit 2101 Chief Randy Waltmire
Chief Waltmire graduated from the Mercer County Police Training Academy in March of 1988. Randy has been a full-time police officer with the Coldwater Police Department since May of 2001. Randy was promoted to Police Chief on April 10, 2006. Prior to working in Coldwater, Randy had served with other departments for 13 years.

Unit 2103 Sergeant Jason Miller
Sergeant Miller graduated from James A. Rhodes State College in 2003 with an Associates Degree in Public Safety. On October 14, 2003, Jason was hired full-time by the Morgan County Sheriff's Office. Jason started with the Coldwater Police Department as a full-time patrolman on June 19, 2006. Jason serves as the department's field training officer and firearms instructor. Jason was promoted to Patrol Sergeant on March 31, 2008.
Unit 2104 Patrolman Lucas Wolfe
Patrolman Wolfe graduated from Wright State Lake Campus Law Enforcement Academy in May of 2005. Luke began working for the Anna Police Department as a part-time patrol officer and then promoted to full-time in April of 2006. Patrolman Wolfe was hired as a part-time patrol officer in Coldwater on July 10, 2006 and promoted to full-time on January 29, 2007. Luke serves as the BAC Senior Operator in charge, department Taser Instructor, and is also a bike patrol officer.
Unit 2105 Patrolman Kyle Silver
Patrolman Silver graduated from St. Mary's Memorial High School in 2004. Kyle then went to Rhodes State College where he received an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Law Enforcement. Kyle began working as an Auxiliary Deputy Sheriff for the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office in June of 2006 and was hired as a part-time patrol officer for the Village of Coldwater in March of 2007. Kyle was promoted to full-time patrolman on March 31, 2008.
Unit 2106 Patrolman Amanda McDonald
Patrolman McDonald graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science in 2002. She attended Wright State Lake Campus Law Enforcement Academy and graduated in May of 2005. Amanda started as a part-time patrol officer with the Village of New Knoxville in June of 2005 and became a full-time patrol officer for Coldwater on June 26, of 2006. Amanda is Coldwater's first female patrol officer. Amanda serves as a bike patrol officer and also teaches self-protection for females to village residents.
Unit 2107 Detective Dave Dues
Detective Dues graduated from Coldwater High School in 1994 and then attended the Law Enforcement Police Academy at Lima Technical College. In June of 1996, Dave graduated from the police academy and earned an Associates Degree in law enforcement. One November 22, 1996 he was hired as a part-time patrol officer for the Village of Coldwater and promoted to full-time on July 17, 1998. Dave serves as the department's evidence room manager.
Unit 2108 Patrolman Daniel Speckman
Patrolman Speckman graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School and then Rhodes State College with an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement. Patrolman Speckman started as a part-time patrol officer for the Village of Coldwater on April 7, 2008.
Unit 2109 Patrolman Kyle Dues
Patrolman Dues graduated from Fort Recovery High School and then Rhodes State College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Law Enforcement. Patrolman Dues started as a part-time patrol officer for Coldwater on October 30, 2006.
Unit 2111 Patrolman Shawn Craft
Patrolman Craft graduated from the Grand Lake Police Academy in 2007. Shawn was hired as a part-time patrol officer for the Village of Coldwater on July 2, 2007. Shawn is from St. Mary's and graduated from St. Mary's Memorial High School.
Unit 2120 Administrative Assistant Sue Rindler
Sue was hired as the Coldwater Police Department's administrative assistant on April 25, 2006.
